Tire oil extracted from waste tire pyrolysis is burning oil, furnace oil. It’s a kind of heavy oil.

The composition of waste tires is simple, and the oil is stable. The oil is brown-black, double neutral, with a flash point of about 35 degrees, a density of 0.9-0.92, and a calorific value of 102000-105000 kcal. Tire oil can sometimes be labeled as heavy oil, crude oil, etc. on the market. It is mainly used for industrial fuel heating, and can also be used as marine fuel oil and generator oil after processing. Because tire oil contains sulfur and ash, there are more impurities and the oil quality is poor, so it is more suitable for low-speed generators, which can reduce the failure rate. When processing tire oil, try to reduce the particulate impurities inside, and the particle size should be controlled within 10-20μm. At the same time, the flash point of tire oil should be increased as much as possible, which can reduce the occurrence of breaking and improve safety.

The sulfur content in tire oil is about 0.6-0.9%m/m, which is a kind of high-sulfur fuel oil. Even after being processed by distillation process, the sulfur content in tire oil can only be reduced to a certain extent and the sulfur cannot be completely removed. Therefore, refined non-standard diesel is mostly used in ships, tractors, and heavy agricultural machinery.
