recycling of oil sludge

Oil sludge could come from oil well drilling, oily contaminated soil or tanker sludge. It’s oily and sticky, and is difficult to process.
It uses a customized pyrolysis plant for recycling of oil sludge. The raw material of oil sludge often comes in semi-solid and semi-liquid, packed in bags or in bulk. It can use hydraulic feeder or slurry pump to load oil sludge to pyrolysis reactor based on its conditions. The pyrolysis reactor is customized with anti-sticking design for long-term production.

production ratio

Please note that the production ratio of output products depends on the conditions of oil sludge, such as its content of water and impurities.

0%
FUEL OIL

Known as fuel oil, pyrolysis oil, heating oil, furnace oil. Used as industrial fuel for cement plant, steel plant, metallurgical plant, glass plant, power plant etc.

0%
SLAG

Used as building materials to make road foundations and bricks.

0%
SYNGAS

Known as combustible gas or non-condensable gas. Routed to gas burners of heating system as fuel supply.

running process

Typical running process and production time to process 10 tons of oil sludge. Meanwhile the production time is affected by the condition of raw materials.

  • Feeding Of Oil Sludge (3 Hours)

Using hydraulic feeder or slurry pump to load oil sludge into pyrolysis reactor. The pyrolysis reactor rotates in feeding direction. Keeps feeding until the reactor is fully loaded. Usually it takes 3 hours to load 10 tons of oil sludge.

  • Starts Heating (3 Hours)

When feeding is finished, closes the feeding port then ignites the heating system. The internal temperature goes up slowly in the first 2 hours.

  • Oil Production (10 Hours)

Oil sludge breaks down into gas state and solid state under pyrolysis reaction. The gas state enters condensing system, gets liquified and becomes liquid fuel. The oil production process lasts 10 hours. The solid state that is slag stays inside pyrolysis reactor waiting for discharging.

  • Cooling Down (3 Hours)

When oil production is finished, leaves the machine to cool down for 3 hours before discharging.

  • Discharging Slag (2.5 Hours)

Discharges slag from reactor by U-shape conveyor. It takes around 2.5 hours.
