Various types of plastics can be used in pyrolysis to produce fuels and other valuable products. The most common types of plastics used in pyrolysis include:

1.Polyethylene(PE)

*High-Density Polyethylene(HDPE): Commonly found in containers, bottles, and plastic bags.

*Low-Density Polyethylene(LDPE): Used in plastic films, bags, and packaging materials.

2.Polypropylene(PP)

*Used in packaging, automotive parts, textiles, and various consumer products.

3.Polystyrene(PS)

*Found in disposable cups, plastic food containers, and packaging materials.

4.Polymethyl Methacrylate(PMMA)

*Also known as acrylic or plexiglass, it is used in signs, displays, and various transparent products.

5.Polycarbonate(PC)

*Used in electronics, optical discs, and other durable goods.

Note that PVC and PET are not suitable for pyrolysis projects.
