As for how many tons of tires can be pyrolyzed in one furnace mainly depends on the type of the pyrolysis machine. Different types of used tire pyrolysis plants have different processing capacities, and one furnace can pyrolyze 1 to 50 tons of used tires.

The common batch-type pyrolysis plant can pyrolyze 1-15 tons of tires in one furnace. The hot selling processing capacity in the market is 10 tons and 15 tons. This type of pyrolysis machine is suitable for small and medium-sized investment and operational needs and can dispose of raw materials such as tires and plastics. For large-scale waste tire treatment projects, if the annual processing capacity is required to reach 20,000 tons or more, only 1-2 such continuous pyrolysis equipment could meet production needs.

It should be noted that the actual loading amount of an old tire pyrolysis plant in one furnace not only depends on the design capacity of the equipment, but also is limited by factors such as the space occupancy rate of waste tires, the crushing particle size during the pre-treatment process, and the pyrolysis reaction conditions. Some customers may choose to use a tire setting machine to put two or more tires of similar size together first and increase the feeding amount. In addition, the cut tire blocks are more space-saving than the whole tire feeding, and after cutting, multiple tires can be loaded and refined in one furnace.
