After the high-temperature heated by tyre pyrolysis plant, the used tires convert into oil. It is pyrolysis oil, also known as heavy oil, crude oil or furnace oil. It is neither gasoline nor diesel, it is a kind of industrial fuel oil. This oil is obtained by waste tyre pyrolysis process for one time and has not been further refined, so its color is heavy. Under the condition of 15℃ atmospheric pressure, the density of oil from waste tires is 0.89g/cm³, and the calorific value is 44.30MJ/kg.
What are the applications of the tyre oil? Can it be used in ordinary vehicles directly? The answer is no. It could not be used in vehicles or internal combustion engines. Because tire oil contains a large number of naphthenic hydrocarbons and aromatics. The higher content of aromatics will reduce the quality of oil and make incomplete combustion, these substances will affect the combustion efficiency of tire oil in the engine and pollute the environment. The exhaust gas will contain more small particles, which will increase the concentration of PM2.5 in the air. In addition, tire oil also has shortcomings such as low flash point, high density and high viscosity. It is these problems that we do not suggest using tire oil in ordinary vehicles and internal combustion engines directly.
But because its calorific value has reached more than 11,000 kcal, it can be used as heating material in steel factories, glass factories, cement factories, ceramic factories, boiler factories, etc. In addition to being used as industrial fuel, the tyre oil can also be further processed and refined into non-standard diesel by our oil distillation plant. The heavy oil will be refined into clean and bright diesel oil, which can be used in diesel generators, tractors, trucks, ships, power generators, etc.
